1. Scope and our role

This Privacy Policy applies to the public Talmero Vexa website at talmerovexa.com. The site is an informational B2B resource about casino security. It does not provide gaming, player accounts, deposits, withdrawals, bonuses or wagering. Talmero Vexa is responsible for the personal information it controls in connection with this website.

Links to third-party websites are governed by those parties' notices. We encourage you to review them before providing personal information.

2. Information associated with a visit

Information you provide

If you contact us by email, we receive the information in your message, such as your name, business contact details, organization, request and any attachments you choose to send. Please do not send highly sensitive personal or security information through ordinary email.

Technical information

Like most websites, hosting infrastructure may record limited technical data needed to deliver and protect the service. This can include IP address, date and time, requested page, referring page, browser or device type, and error or security event information.

Age confirmation

When you confirm that you are at least 18, the value tv-age-verified=true is stored in your browser's session storage. It is not transmitted by the website's JavaScript and normally disappears when the browser session ends.

No advertising trackers

The current website does not use advertising pixels, behavioural advertising, analytics cookies, account profiles or automated decision-making. If that changes, this notice will be updated before the new processing begins where required.

3. Why information may be used

Limited information may be used to:

  • deliver pages and maintain website availability;
  • detect abuse, investigate security events and protect systems;
  • respond to business enquiries and maintain relevant correspondence;
  • comply with legal obligations or valid legal process; and
  • establish, exercise or defend legal rights.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use contact information submitted by email to place bets, open a gaming account or promote gambling.

4. Service providers, location and retention

Website hosting, email and security providers may process limited information on our behalf under their own technical and contractual arrangements. Depending on provider infrastructure, information may be processed outside your province or outside Canada and may be subject to the laws of that location.

We aim to retain business correspondence only while it remains reasonably necessary for the enquiry, relationship, recordkeeping or legal purpose. Technical logs are generally kept for a limited operational and security period determined by the hosting environment. Information may be retained longer when required by law, a legal hold or an active security investigation.

Reasonable administrative and technical measures are used to protect information. No internet or email transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

5. Access, correction and privacy choices

Subject to applicable law, you may ask whether we hold personal information about you, request access to it, ask for correction of inaccurate information, withdraw consent where processing depends on consent, or raise a concern about how information was handled. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier lawful handling and may be limited where information is needed for legal, security or recordkeeping purposes.

We may need to verify identity before responding. Verification information will be limited to what is reasonably necessary. Access may be refused or limited where permitted or required by law—for example, where disclosure would reveal another person's personal information, privileged material or confidential commercial information. If a request cannot be completed, we will aim to explain why and identify available complaint options.

You can clear the age confirmation by closing the browser session or clearing this site's storage through browser settings. Because the site does not currently set marketing or analytics cookies, no optional-cookie preference centre is presently required.

6. Cookies and browser storage

The website currently uses a single session-storage value for the 18+ confirmation and does not use advertising, analytics or profiling cookies. Browser storage is distinct from ordinary server requests and hosting logs. Full technical details, duration, browser controls and future-change commitments appear in our Cookie Policy.

If optional tracking or analytics is introduced, we will assess the purpose, legal requirements, data minimization and consent experience before activation. We will not disguise optional advertising technology as strictly necessary functionality.

7. Information safeguards and incident response

Safeguards are selected with regard to sensitivity, amount, format, distribution and reasonably foreseeable risk. Measures may include limited administrative access, account authentication, provider access controls, transport encryption, software maintenance, logging, backups and procedures for handling suspected incidents.

Access should be limited to people and providers who need information for an authorized function. Information should not be copied into informal systems or retained merely because storage is available. Service providers are expected to protect information consistently with their role and applicable agreements.

No organization can guarantee absolute security. If we identify unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration or loss, we will assess scope, sensitivity, potential consequences and the likelihood of misuse. We will preserve relevant evidence, contain the issue and provide notification to affected individuals or authorities where required by applicable law.

8. When information may be disclosed

We may disclose limited information to hosting, email, infrastructure, cybersecurity, professional-advisory or records-management providers where they need it to perform an authorized service. Providers may not use information for unrelated purposes simply because they process it on our behalf.

Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with a court order, warrant, subpoena, regulator request or other lawful process; investigate fraud, abuse or a security incident; protect rights, safety or systems; obtain legal advice; or support a prospective business reorganization subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal safeguards.

We do not sell personal information, rent business contact lists, disclose visitor information to gambling operators for player acquisition or share data for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not respond to informal demands for personal information as though they were compulsory legal process.

9. Minors and sensitive information

This website is intended for adults aged 18 or older. It is not directed to minors and does not knowingly solicit their personal information. If you believe a minor has sent personal information through an enquiry, contact us so the circumstances can be reviewed and the information deleted where appropriate.

Please do not send passwords, payment-card data, government identifiers, health records, biometric templates, detailed security vulnerabilities, active incident evidence or information about another person unless a secure method and clear business need have been agreed in advance. Ordinary email may not be suitable for sensitive material.

The site does not collect player profiles, gambling histories, payment data or self-exclusion records. Responsible-gambling support resources linked from this website are operated independently and apply their own privacy practices.

10. Accountability, contact and changes

For a privacy question, access or correction request, or complaint, email privacy@talmerovexa.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” Describe the issue and the response you are seeking without including unnecessary sensitive information. We will aim to acknowledge and assess requests within a reasonable period.

If a concern is not resolved, you may have the right to contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the privacy regulator responsible in your province or territory. The appropriate authority depends on the organization, activity and applicable law.

We may revise this policy to reflect changes to the site, providers, law or our practices. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes will be presented prominently and additional consent will be requested where legally required. Archived versions may be retained for governance and dispute-resolution purposes.
